SpecialKids magazine supports those involved with the care of children with special needs and the best possible support comes from YOU, those that have experienced the ups and downs of caring for a special needs child.
Often is true that “if I knew then what I know now, I would have done things differently” so if you share the knowledge you have learnt the hard way you may possibly make someone else’s load a little lighter, and their day a bit easier.
It is easy to contribute and below we outline the preferred way, but even a hasty letter on a small bit of memo paper may be exactly the thing that someone else needs to hear.
So don’t put it off, put pen to paper now, letters, articles, and DON’T forget the kids page.
